In anticipation of our exclusive year-end interview with Sue Nero, we’re pleased to share previously unseen film of Sue dancing at the Harmony Theatre in the early 1980s.
Many thanks to Dominique, former manager of the Harmony, for giving this to us.

An interview with Sue Nero…….!?!?!
I can’t wait!
Amazing that this has survived – congrats on the find, and thanks for sharing!
Wow! Treats! I was watching a dvd collection of her loops just yesterday! Definitely a year-end gift! Thank you!
Awesome Article Burlesque Night Club From The 50s 70s 80s And Early 90s Pinup Model Keep Up Good Work
Can’t wait for that interview, for me Sue,Annette, long Jeanne & Tiffany are the best memories of NY in the crazy 80
Great News! Looking forward to the interview with Sue Nero.
She was truly under appreciated . Very good looking and oozed sexuality. Forget the dancing she looked best just standing there . Never realized how attractive she was
Excellent ! ! !
What a great clip. Sue was such an entertaining performer, so beautiful and had such a refreshingly different look. The perfect amount of tease, athleticism and playfulness. and such a great bod. Really looking forward to the interview.
Once again Ashley & April you have done a remarkable search of finding that footage on Sue.
Not only she was on the cover of magazines + and be on film but she had a “eye catching figure” moving her body on stage was fantastic.
That 10-minute footage is outstanding.
Can’t wait for the interview with her, it would definitely be on my bucket list
Sue Nero was one of my all time favorites. One of the first interracial scenes I ever watched was with her and Jonathan Younger. Love to hear what she’s up to right now.
LOL! Spotted Sue at the old National Theater (now ABC News Studios) in Times Square, back in 1983. I was with a co-worker and we went to the midnight showing of “Scarface” w/ Al Pacino the Friday it was released. We got some seats and were rolling some herb waiting for the movie to start when I saw Sue with some dude! I recognized her immediately, tapped my boy’s arm and said “Oh shit! That’s Sue Nero!” Dude had no idea who she was! I felt like a complete sleeze! Of course I was a horny young man w/a big tit fetish, so yeah I was familiar w/ Sue’s work! She was hot, hot, hot! Cool to see she’s still around!
pure gold, what a beautiful woman
would love to see more of these type videos
A goddess on stage! Seeing Sue do this performance which was such a traditional raunchy routine back in the day looks so beautiful when viewed today through the eyes of nostalgia. Thanks Susie and all.
It must have felt good to take those high heals off. Having watched so many old-time burlesque films, I was almost expecting to see some pasties underneath her top. Definitely looking forward to the podcast.
Another absolute triumph for the The Rialto Report in what has been an absolute triumph of a year – even by your high standards.
Happy holidays – and keep doing what you do. You do it better than anyone else.
She had a rough childhood. Class act.
Quick question unrelated to this wonderful post: is Distribpix dead? I assume so as they have done nothing for many years, and their website has not been updated forever. I once had high hopes for their relaunch but they seem to have become completely extinct. I wrote to them recently – no reply. Any news?
Exquisitely remarkable… Not only is voluptuous Susie a delight to behold with hands down, the most zaftig breasts you could ever bury your face in… The footage itself is so strikingly beautiful. Not just some throwaway clip hastily captured with an iPhone 13 Pro. Truly harkens back to the “good old days.” Happy Holidays to All.
Susan was one my favourites from back in the day. She had the slutty look down pat. I look very forward to hearing her story from the early days in the biz. These interviews are historically significant. I applaud this site for outstanding work and professionalism shown toward an industry that underscored the fabric of those times.
She’s such a beautiful girl. Heart of Gold
Excited to hear her story. We were friends back in the day. But needed hang out much because we were always working. I’ll never forget the day I went to say goodbye to her when I quit the business. She had a little apartment in NY.
She is very special. Thanks Rialto for sharing her story. She’s a amazing girl ♥️🤗
One of my favorite people
Wow! I was a regular at the Harmony from around 1989-1995. This is a much needed happy trip down memory lane for sure. Thanks so much.
One thing I forgot to mention. I’m surprised at the song Sue Nero was dancing to in this clip. I seem to remember her going on stage only to Jim Morrison and the Doors.
The Rialto Report is the gift that keeps on giving. Can’t wait for this.
Possibly the greatest clip I have ever seen!! This is everything I have been waiting for. Thank you so much for your amazing work
Dance Goddess Dance!
