Last year we re-published the first eight issues of Flick magazine online on The Rialto Report website – and today we’re publishing the remaining twelve issues.
Flick magazine was the first New York magazine fully dedicated to covering adult films.
It was produced on a sporadic, not-quite-monthly basis – starting with the first issue in June 1975. It contained features on many of the more successful films of the era, including Defiance, The Private Afternoons of Pamela Mann, Sometime Sweet Susan, and Anyone But My Husband, as well as interview with stars such as Jennifer Welles, Sonny Landham, and Andrea True.
It also contained some great ads for products (‘Fulfill Your Wildest Dreams with the… Electronic Everything Doll’), self-improvement (‘Increase Yourself To Mammoth Dimensions with the… Peter Pump’), and potions (‘Free Spanish Fly Pills!’)
We received a great response to our last post about Flick magazine, so we’re republishing the remaining twelve issues of Flick magazine – available online in their entirety for the first time.
For the first year’s issues of Flick magazine, please visit our previous post, or visit our online library.

YYYYYYEEEEEEESSSSSSS!!!!
Thank you, thank you, thank you.
(I know I’ve pleaded with you via email over the last 18 months for these, but thanks for listening. These are almost un-findable…)
Excellent companion to the recent AVN issues. Good work, and thanks.
Is there any idea that perhaps The Rialto could become THE library for all other “golden age film” magazine collections. That would be perfect. I have many issues to contribute. – just lemme know.
Wonderful, RR!

Subliminal seductions, my friends…
This was great to see, so much history here. The real enjoyment some very rare pictures of Brooke and Taylor Young to bad no interviews of them really gone for ever. Great job
Thank you very much
Leslie Bovee very pretty in the July issue.
Amazing.
Thanks very much. I notice you are missing 3 issues (that I know about). Will you be sharing any more issues?
Wonderful stuff. Love the whole attitude of the writing. Many thanks for making these available.
