These photos were taken at a protest outside the New York offices of Ms. magazine.
The gathering was organized by Annie Sprinkle, Gloria Leonard, Dian Hanson and Marlene Willoughby, and was in response to an anti-sex worker article that had appeared in the pages of Ms. The trio requested the right to reply, but were turned down by the magazine’s editors – so this protest was the result.
We love how Marlene manages to include a promotional plug for her new film Fiona on Fire at the World Theater on her placard.
